Duplicated Outlook emails and posts: searching, removing, marking, or copying to another folder. Outlook add-in cleans your mailbox from duplicates in Find and remove duplicate email messages and posts in Microsoft Outlook folders. A fast, powerful, safe and handy tool that has been eliminating.
I have the same problem. In particular, although not exclusively, with recurring entries - three in particular that just keep respawning thousands of entries (literally!). I also have a number of other (mostly recurring) entries that I can't delete from the calendar. I have a hosted MS Exchange 2007 account (shortly to be upgraded to 2010, but I'm not keen on doing that until this issue is resolved!), and I use Outlook 2010 on my PC (Win7), Outlook 2011 on my Macbook Pro (OS X 10.6.8), and I also sync to my iPad 1 (4.3.4) and my Nokia Mail-For-Exchange Symbian phone (E72). I don't use/never have used MobileMe. The problem only manifested itself when I started using Office 2011 on my new Mac - before that, everything was fine. Steps I have taken so far: Stop iCal syncing, remove Outlook 2011 profile from iCal.
This seems to have helped - the spawning seems to have stopped (famous last words!), but there are still duplicate calendar entries in Outlook on my Mac which have replicated themselves in Exchange. Some of these entries I cannot delete, even using OWA.
Others are duplicated in Outlook on the Mac but not in OWA. I am tearing my hair out - any help/advice would be welcome.
Sounds like you work in enterprise enviroment running mac osx + outlook client + exchange services: Suggestion and possible fix: Do you have outlook web access? Im guessing your duplicates are on your exhange data also. You will need selected offline mode in 2011 office under the tools tab Within outlook 2011 Under tools click sync services and disbale all if enabled. Click Calendars in the navigation tab / right click the calendar in question / click folder properties / under the genral tab emtpy your cache / Notice your still offline so no exchange data will sync:) You will need organise access to outlook web access and remove the calendar duplicates here first before you can re sync you outlook cleint on your local mac. If this exchange feature isnt enabled you need to conact your help desk / service desk and organise someone to remove the duplicates for you. After this has been done you can switch online again and sync your calendars again and should kill the problem and shouldnt occur again.
Also take not if you have multiple sessions of outlook 2011 on diffrent devices such as macbook or imac / youl need to check sync services is disbaled on those and also run only 1 session of office 2011 per device.
